Check these points:

  1. 1. Personal computer is not muted, nor plugged into a headset or an amplifier switched OFF.

  1. 2. Open the File menu, select Audio, click on the Test button.

  2. If  you don't hear something, it's an internal PC audio problem. Get help with some PC Geek.

  3. 3.  If you heard something, go to the main application panel,

  1. 4. select  "GHB UP Standart Bb" preset and make sure your main volume is not all the way down.

  1. 5. Click the Drone switch 'ON', you must ear the drones start. Open the Chanter panel, click on a note panel to ear a note, click one more time to stop it.

  1. 6. If you dont ear a thing when switching on the drones or clicking a note with a mouse click, your main volume must be down to zero.

  1. 7.Do you see on your system a midi clipping information or can you see what kinf of midi notes you are sending? Because it may be a midi chanter problem.

  1. 8. If it's not,

  Open Setup Panel, check first that you selected 'All' Channels midi to listen to.

  You use a keyboard

  You have to play notes that are in the natural scale of the bagpipe you selected;

  Considering the GHB, this scale is from Ab3 to Bb4. Verify that you did not engage any midi transpose on your keyboard or as a midi effect before the signal comes to UniversalPiper.

  You use a midi chanter

  Verify that you've chosen the right chanter configuration.

  You can try to manually set the 'transpose value' beetween your sensor and the software by doing this: click  Learn and grab your midi practice while holding the fundamental note until the end of the 5 seconds. that will fix the midi offsetfor your midi sensor.

  1. 9. If it still doesnt work , use a midi sniffer to see what midi message is generated by your midi sensor.
